Where is the best place to go Wedding Dress Shopping in NS, NB or PEI? Has anyone been to ACS Formals? Winchesters?

I liked Always and Forver Bridal on Main St. in Dartmouth. I havn't been to either of those other shops yet though.

ACS has a good rep but I found it odd to try on a dress in a room that wasn't a fitting room but a closet full of other gowns, way too crammed. Betty Rubins in Moncton has a horrible rep for being rude, so does Salon Marie Elengant. I went to Lockhart's in Sussex, although there were some mishaps overall the shopping experience was good.

For MOH dresses, I would recommend Hillsborough Fashion, just outside of Moncton. My mum picked hers up there a couple of weeks ago, and was very happy with the service, selection (lots of different styles), and the prices were very good (they even gave her $20 extra off!)

Why are there so many rude people in the Wedding Retail industry, I have come across to so many unfriendly, unhelpful people ...maybe its just me or the places I have gone...Totally disappointed but will definitely check out some of your suggestions above.

I went to Alyssa's Formals in Sackville....the staff was helpful and the prices were really good. However, because you don't need an appointment there were a lot of other girls there trying on dresses....and I found it too crowded. I've heard really good things about Tatums in Windsor. I think you need an appointment. They provide all your alterations as a gift to you...

I bought mine off kijiji though smile

I have heard that Tatums in NS (anapolis valley I think) has some amazing gowns. I am heading there shortly to find mine!
