* Wedding Professionals must have a Basic Listing or Banner Ad on FB before gaining access to this chat board.
* A Simple Link ad does not include a chat membership.
* Promoting a company owned by you, a friend, a family member or someone that is paying you a commission is against the rules.

Our policy as of June 18, 2005 is zero tolerance. There will be no warnings, no notice, no exceptions ... You will be banned.

Vendors posing as brides and Babblers who solicit business will not be tolerated. FB has lost a lot of repeat advertising contracts because of complaints over this rule-breaking behaviour.

To those brides that use the PM system to discuss business with non-paying vendors in hopes of receiving a deal, a word of advice...A legitimate business is not conducted in the shadows, decitefully.

If you would like to become an advertiser, that includes a vendor membership to this chat board, please see our advertising page for package and pricing info.

Question about Promoting and Soliciting

Junkmail, telemarketers, text ads on cell phones, the list goes on.......

In order to keep this chat community free of unwanted promoting and solicitation, not to mention that frugalbride.com is a business, we have the following policies that we ask you to abide by.

1. Only paid advertisers can promote and solicit business.

2. Paid advertisers can only promote and solicit business under these categories:
Vendor Deals
Vendor Business
Vendor Advice
The province that they service

3. Attention brides and married ladies:
Typing up a wedding review and giving a referral is completely acceptable and very important on the Babbling Bride Board. Promoting a company owned by you, a friend, a family member or someone that is paying you to do so is not.

4. In a side note to rule #3; Repetetive mention of a vendor is considered over promoting, monopolizing the board on behalf of that vendor, soliciting business for them.

If you or anyone you know would like the opportunity to join the board to further their business, please see our
advertising page for packages and prices.

As always, I need your help is spotting potential policy breakers. If you see a post that you think I should know about, please click on to notify me, or you can PM or email me.

Thank you for your cooperation.

This message was copied from the BBB FYI box on 1:20pm September 29,2008:

A married babbler has just been banned for conducting wedding related business on the board without purchasing a Basic Listing first. We take our Zero Tolerance Policy very serious. No exceptions will be made. No warnings need to be given.

For anyone that would like a vendor membership to this chat board, please fill out this Basic Listing form . We'd love to help you start a new business or further your current career.

Maybe a dumb question, but I am considering advertising my services as a massage therapist within the next month or so. Is there any rule against having both a vendor membership and my regular babbler membership?

Yes. That would be against the rules.
You would need to purchase a Basic Listing.
